Gavin Zuchlinski began working in web development and consulting in 2003, the same year he started earning a mathematics B.S. degree from Penn State.

In 2006, a year before his graduation, Zuchlinski developed Acuity Scheduling in response to some of his small business clients’ requests for a robust cloud-based appointment booking software. The SaaS fulfilled a growing need and the company began growing, mostly through referrals and word of mouth.
