What happens when the friction between sales and marketing slows down growth, even in companies with great products? Can AI truly fix that gap — or does real acceleration still depend on how people and teams work together? And what does it take to scale revenue without losing alignment along the way?
Dr. Amy Osmond Cook, a seasoned marketing and RevOps leader, explains that growth accelerates when AI-powered systems are combined with strong human alignment across sales and marketing. She highlights how Fullcast unifies forecasting, commissions, territory planning, and revenue operations into one platform to remove friction and improve execution. The result is faster alignment, clearer visibility, and more predictable revenue outcomes. She also shares how strategic acquisitions and deep data integration helped build a scalable system that still prioritizes onboarding and client relationships.
In this episode of the Inspired Insider Podcast, host Dr. Jeremy Weisz sits down with Dr. Amy Osmond Cook, to talk about AI, RevOps, and scaling revenue through better alignment. They discuss building Fullcast through acquisitions, using AI for forecasting and commissions, and improving sales territory planning. Intro 00:15
You are listening to Inspired Insider with your host, Dr. Jeremy Weisz.
Dr. Jeremy Weisz 00:22
Dr. Jeremy Weisz here. I am the Founder of InspiredInsider.com, where I talk with inspirational entrepreneurs and leaders. Today is no different. I have Amy Osmond Cook with Fullcast. And Amy, I’m going to formally introduce you and the company, Fullcast. People can check it out at Fullcast.com in a second. I like to point out other episodes of the podcast that people should check out. Since this is part of the Top Agency Series. Let’s see Todd. They can check out the interview I did with Todd. He runs. He basically runs a company that helps pair private equity with agencies. He’s helped sell agencies, and he’s got the Second Bite Podcast. So sometimes he finds. And Amy has a lot of experience with acquisitions on both the buy and sell side.
And sometimes they sell and they get more on the second bite than they do on the first, especially when private equity is involved. So that’s he’s got some really cool private equity companies, agencies who have sold their company just talking through the process. The other one is Kevin Hourigan, who runs Spinutech. He’s at an agency since 1995. So it’s interesting to hear kind of the evolution of the internet. And I hate to age, Kevin, but, you know, the internet and, you know, agency life and just business in general through that, those time periods. So check out those and many more on InspiredInsider.com.
This episode is brought to you by Rise25. At Rise25, we help businesses connect to their dream relationships and partnerships. We do that in a few ways. One, we’re an easy button for a company to launch and run a podcast. We do the strategy, accountability, and the full execution. Number two, we’re an easy button for companies gifting. So we make gifting staying top of mind. It could be clients, partners, prospects, it could be even staff from a cultural perspective. Just send us a list of addresses. We do everything else. And I mean, they’re not like, like stuff people are going to throw away, like your logo on someone’s mug or something. No offense to anyone who does that.
That’s fine. I do have some of those in my in my collection, but it’s more I like getting food. So it’s actually food. And think of sending our, your best partners or clients something every 3 to 4 months for five years, and they just get something nice and sweet they can share with the family in the mail. So yeah, for me, the number one thing in my life is relationships. I’m always looking at ways to give to my best relationships. I’ve found no better way than to profile the people I admire on the podcast and send them sweet treats in the mail. So check out Rise25.com or email [email protected]. I am super excited to introduce Amy Osmond Cook. She’s also a PhD, another doctor on the call that cannot prescribe medicine. She is the Co-founder and CMO of Fullcast.
And we’ll poke around Fullcast in the platform as well when we’re on here. But it’s, I guess you say the only AI native GTM platform that turns static strategy into a high velocity revenue. And she’ll kind of go into what that means. And she is an amazing track record really, of driving startups towards successful exits. She served as CMO from series A through acquisition of Simplus by Infosys, PathologyWatch by Sonicare Healthcare, and Onboard by Conservice and Conservice. And she was the Founder and CEO of Stage Marketing from 2009 to 2024, which successfully acquired by Amplio. So Amy, thanks for joining me.
Dr. Amy Osmond Cook: 03:55
Thank you so much for having me. I appreciate the opportunity. And I love what you said about relationships being your number one thing. I think that’s really when it comes down to it, business is all about people helping other people. And I think you expressed that really well.
Dr. Jeremy Weisz: 04:09
You know, it’s funny because I’ve heard you talk and it’s funny, you’re all in on AI and the company. But but you do talk about how AI is not great for everything. And sometimes that one on one touchpoint is critical. Do you want to touch on that even though. Absolutely.
Yeah.
Dr. Amy Osmond Cook: 04:29
Sure. Yes. I think in my personal, you know, perspective, as I formed it, I believe that, you know, running an agency for all of those years, the reason was the reason that people hired me was not because I didn’t ever make any mistakes or because I could do it better than them in-house, even though a lot of times I could. The reason that they hired me was because they wanted a partner. They wanted somebody that they could trust and rely on and somebody that had their back. And I think that that’s the same with AI. I think, you know, if we can think of ourselves as cyborgs rather than robots, I think we’re all going to be a little bit better off.
Dr. Jeremy Weisz: 05:13
I’d love to hear, and maybe we’ll just start off with Fullcast, but you have a really interesting story of how everything started. But let’s start off with Fullcast. And what you do is you do that. I’m going to pull up the site so people can check it out.
