Is there someone in your life that matters more than anything else? What would you do for the person that you love the most? Wouldn’t you do everything you could to see them succeed and thrive? After adopting Abbey after her devastating car accident, Lee threw herself head-on into a new phase of life – motherhood. From the moment that Lee became a mother, empowering and encouraging Abbey became her top priority. Hearing Lee talk about the accomplishments Abbey has achieved, and pride she has for her really gives you peek into what makes Lee tick. Have you ever had an experience with someone who really wanted to get to know you? Beyond the surface questions and small talk – what does it look like to really get to know someone? The truth is – most people are not equipped to dive deep and have a substantive conversation with an acquaintance. If you want to be known as a good leader who thinks deeply, not just broadly, you need to learn to ask the question behind the question. Why not try leading with questions, what do you have to lose?

Let’s face it; most people will go their whole lives without having to really face their own mortality until they are close to the end of a long life. How would you respond if you were faced with a life or death situation tomorrow? Would you be prepared to face the severity and finality of death, or would you begin to panic and lose control? When she was faced with a life and death situation, Lee was able to put her life in the hands of her husband. Working hard to put together the best care plan possible for her, Lee’s husband oversaw her recover, that cost over $1 million.

Do you ever find yourself wondering how certain leaders and business owners can achieve the level of success they enjoy? Did they make a wish on a shooting star, or was it some other lucky opportunity that happened to break their way? The truth is, success is about more than just luck – you have to put in the effort! You need to learn to recognize “Micro-movements” – the little steps you can take each day to inch closer to the goals you’ve set. What can you learn from Lee’s story and her experience with Micro-movements?
