Dmitry Dragilev is founder of and Criminallyprolific. Some of his feats include: helping a startup from 0 to 40 million pageviews (acquired by Google), helping a company from 0 to 5 million users (acquired by AVG), and he got 60 leads in 24 hours with just a landing page and a linkedin group.





Dmitry used to be over 200lbs.
He has a crazy story of growing up in Soviet Russia and barely getting out.


Dmitry uses the web in unconventional ways to drive user acquisition for startups for the past 10+ years. He runs a service called JustReachOut helping startups find and pitch journalists who are interested in what they do.
His days are spent hunting and employing unexploited, out of the box, scalable and repeatable ways to acquire users and automating the entire acquisition process.

He helped grow a startup from 0 to 40M+ pageviews and get acquired by Google. He also helped grow another startup from 0 to 5+ million users and eventually get acquired by AVG.

He has been known to get 60 leads in 24 hours with just a landing page and a LinkedIn group, sell a product idea to 10 people and get paid ahead of time before starting to write code, grow an email list from 700 to 3000 in 2 months and rank as #3 on Google for my term in 14 days.

He worked at a firm where the idea for Twitter Bootstrap was born. He helped them increase their daily traffic by 10X and grow Alexa from 90,000 to 6,000 in 2 years.

Born in the former Soviet Union, immigrated to the U.S., gained tons of weight because ate everything in sight, learned the language and culture, studied computers, lost nearly 150 pounds in college and became a huge P90X fan, developed software for Fortune 500 companies, worked my way up to managing software development.

Dmitry Dragilev used to be the Marketing Lead at ZURB an interaction design firm which helps people design better products & services through consulting, their own products, tutorials, writing, training and events. Since 1998 ZURB has helped over 100 clients including: Facebook, eBay, Yahoo, NYSE, Zazzle, Playlist, Britney Spears among others.
