Build Relationships with Phenomenal Entrepreneurs
2 ½ life-changing days. Relationships to last a lifetime.
Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn, CA
March 20-22, 2016
“One of the best events I’ve ever been to.”
Our Risk Free Guarantee…
Before you read any further we wanted to share how we made this a “slam dunk,” zero hesitation, “absolute yes”.
In case you’re hesitating to apply for any reason, we want to take out all the risk.
What we came up with is unprecedented in the “live event” space…
We are so confident of the value that if for any reason you feel you did not get at least 3x the value you paid to attend the event, then we will work one on one with you to make sure you have tripled your investment, or we will refund 100% of your money AND reimburse you up to $1000 for travel and expenses.
You read that right. If you are unhappy for any reason either at the retreat or even up to 6 months after you are back home, then ask for a full refund and we will send you a check.
Here’s why we’re so confident making this guarantee…
Just one of the attendees said:
Let’s face it. Building a business is hard…
Sure, you’ve started your business. Maybe you’ve even grown it to six, seven or eight figures.
But getting bigger doesn’t always make things easier. And building a business can be lonely.
When was the last time you stopped, took a step back, and spent a few days to “zoom out” and focused on long-term strategy?
If you’re like 99.9% of business owners, it has been far too long since you worked “on” your business rather than “in” your business…
Instead, you find yourself spending long hours at the office, day after day, making sure everything gets done on time.
You wonder if you’re “doing things right” or if there’s a better and faster way to grow and scale.
You’ve experienced the cash flow rollercoaster that comes from being flush with clients and/or sales one month, and dry as a desert the next month.
Even as you start adding contractors and employees, it’s hard to get real feedback and advice – from other entrepreneurs in the trenches – that is relevant to your situation.
You need advice from other entrepreneurs who are building businesses like you are, or better yet – who have already been down the path you’re going down.
You’ve seen other businesses – probably in your own industry – who seem to have it all figured out.
They have their marketing dialed in…
They have the best clients…
They have all the great connections…
You wonder: there must be a better way to build a business, right?
Now let’s imagine an alternative.
Nothing is More Powerful than the Right Relationships with the Right Group of Like-minded Entrepreneurs
Imagine if you could join a community of other incredible, driven, savvy entrepreneurs who are building their businesses to multiple six figures, seven figures, eight figures and beyond…
Imagine if you could spend a few days immersed with those other entrepreneurs working together to help drive your businesses to higher and higher levels…
Imagine if you had a new group of colleagues on your speed dial who you could depend on to help support you as you continue to grow…
Imagine if you could get specific feedback on your ideas, learn what is working today, make “course corrections” that save you tens of thousands of dollars and years of wasted effort, forge critical connections with other high-level entrepreneurs and VIPs, and “slingshot” your way to the highly profitable and satisfying business you’ve dreamed about.
Now you can.
Introducing… The Entrepreneurs’ Retreat
The Entrepreneurs’ Retreat is an application-only, highly-selective community of entrepreneurs who are interested in growing their businesses by supporting one another.
Entrepreneurs who attend Entrepreneurs’ Retreats know “it’s all about who you know” and they are willing to invest in growing who they know.
These entrepreneurs recognize technology is rapidly changing the landscape for businesses, and they want to leverage new online tools like blogging, podcasting, webinars, online video, and online marketing techniques to have a bigger impact and increase their influence and income.
They come from all different industries, but they see the value in supporting one another and lifting each other up.
Most of all … entrepreneurs who attend Entrepreneurs’ Retreats join an existing community of past and future entrepreneurs who share a common vision of supporting one another with honest advice, candid feedback, highly profitable introductions, and positive encouragement to keep going.
The Entrepreneurs’ Retreat is more than just an event.
For 2 ½ days at the beautiful 4-star Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn in Napa/Sonoma wine country, northern California, you will connect, bond and mastermind with a dozen other high-level entrepreneurs, each of whom are running a six, seven or eight-figure business.
How do you know if an Entrepreneurs’ Retreat is right for you? You may want to apply to attend an Entrepreneurs’ Retreat if:
- You’re beyond the ‘infancy stage’ of starting your business, but looking for help to break through to the next level.
- You see the value of removing yourself from your business for a few days to clear your head and focus on big picture strategic planning …
- You appreciate the benefits of stepping away and bonding with fellow entrepreneurs over a beer (or two) …
- You understand the value in getting specific feedback from other highly successful multiple six-figure and seven-figure entrepreneurs.
- You own a business that is working and generating good revenue today, but you want to have a bigger impact, maybe even become a recognized expert and authority in your industry.
- You are excited about using emerging technologies like blogging, online advertising, podcasting and webinars to grow your business.
- You recognize life is about more than just business, and you are building a business to support the lifestyle you want to live, so you can spend more time with family, friends, hobbies, or whatever you want to do…
- You’re an entrepreneur … looking to break through barriers in your business.
But let’s just be clear about one thing:
The Entrepreneurs’ Retreat is Not for Everyone
It’s not for you if you are “just starting out.”
It’s not for you if you are still “looking for an idea.”
It’s not for you if your only goal in coming to the event is you are “looking for investors or funding” for your business.
The Entrepreneurs’ Retreat is not your typical conference OR mastermind.
This will be a hands-on event with a very small group and each participant will be expected to come prepared and ready to participate.
Your involvement in the group does not end when the in-person portion comes to a conclusion with our trademark “Roundtable” (more on that in a moment). There will be follow-up accountability after the event is over to make sure you are following through on your goals.
Forget about a long line of speakers who drone on too long, never-ending platitudes and abstract speeches that may inspire in the short-term but do little to create results in the long-term.
This is not a disorganized mastermind with little focus or direction.
Don’t expect to show up and be given 2 days to ‘journal’ and ‘be alone with your thoughts.’
Expect to roll up your sleeves and get to work.
In fact, if you are accepted, our work together starts before the event begins. We get on the phone with you before the retreat to clarify what challenges you want to focus on during the event itself, what barriers you need help overcoming, and to find out how we can start helping you NOW, rather than waiting for the event to start.
You won’t be subjected to upsells and high-pressure sales pitches.

What Makes Entrepreneur’s Retreats Different?
- 12-Month Membership in the “Entrepreneurs’ Retreat” community:
The Retreat is more than a weekend. You are joining the community, with access to our online community for 12 months.
- Our unique “Sherpas” format:
We bring in highly successful seasoned entrepreneurs to serve as Sherpas in the retreat room with us, providing advice and feedback on your businesses that they could charge tens of thousands of dollars for. Imagine “American Idol” judges, without the hostility.
- “Guru-Free Zone”:
At a lot of events, there is one ‘guru’ who is running the show, dominating the room and drown out any other voices or opinions. We believe there’s greater value in creating a collaborative atmosphere in the retreat room where everybody feels comfortable contributing.
- Follow Up Group Calls and Accountability:
Following the retreat, there will be follow-up accountability in the form of follow-up group calls to ensure you are following through on the commitments you make to yourself at the event.
What to Expect
>You’ll arrive on Sunday afternoon, March 20th, and pull up to the beautiful, 4-star Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa, located in the heart of Napa/Sonoma wine country on the site of an ancient natural spring which feeds the 40,000 square foot spa. You will be provided gourmet breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day as well as lifelong relationships with other like minded entrepreneurs.
Sunday night there will be a welcome reception and dinner where you will meet, connect with, and bond with your fellow attendees. You will have already been provided with a briefing packet consisting of information on all the other attendees so you are already familiar with who you will be meeting and their businesses.
The goal of this first dinner and the briefing packet is to accelerate the bonding and familiarization process so that everyone gets to know one another’s business so we can get to work immediately the next morning.
On Monday morning, after a good night’s rest and a hearty breakfast, we will gather in the retreat meeting room. You will be provided with all the writing and strategic planning materials you need.
Our time in the retreat meeting room will be divided into two parts. First, each participant will be given 5 minutes to share the something that is working really well in their business. You will hear cutting-edge strategies and time tested tactics which are working today in the trenches.
This is also your opportunity to give back to your fellow entrepreneurs by sharing a strategy, tool, tactic or practice that has produced great results for your business, and which the other entrepreneurs can implement in their businesses.
Second, participants will be given a “hot seat” where the other members of the group will give specific feedback and suggestions for how you can break through your current challenge(s). We will be joined in the retreat room with our two VIP ‘Sherpas’ – entrepreneurs who have been to the ‘mountain top’ and come back down to help others get there.
Our Sherpas serve a role like judges on American Idol, but with more constructive feedback, less infighting, and without the awkward sexual tension between Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul.
Not sure which challenge to focus on? Not to worry. You will have already completed a strategy session with us ahead of time to hone in on the specific challenge you want help with.
Later that day, we’ll have a group activity/excursion where you will be able to connect with your fellow attendees in a more casual environment. We will have a group dinner fit with all the trimmings where the group can talk business and continue to forge relationships.
On Tuesday, we will continue on in the retreat meeting room, and later on in the day we will experience a private sit-down interview with a special VIP entrepreneur guest with entrepreneur and podcasting legend Andrew Warner, founder of the Mixergy podcast.
The event will conclude that evening when we board a bus to a special offsite location where we will enjoy our trademark Entrepreneurs’ Retreat Closing Party/Dinner and Roundtable.
We will be joined by additional VIP guests at this concluding party, who will then participate in our group roundtable discussion.
You will come away with new insights, clarity, and lifelong relationships with a dozen other high-level entrepreneurs – all of whom are going through, or have gone through, the challenges you are experiencing. You will have a new group of friends and colleagues on your speed dial who you can depend on to help you as you continue to grow.
This is a rare opportunity for you to take a step away from the day-to-day and work on the long-term vision for your business.
Once the retreat is over, the experience will not end. There will be structured follow-up in the months after the event.
And of course the relationships will last a lifetime.
“Man, it was one of the best events I have been to. There was a lot of knowledge in the room, a lot of humility. There was people who’ve been in the online business for 20 plus years, doing it forever. Some of the most successful copywriters in the world… There was just so much great energy and a lot of people giving great feedback. Anytime you can get into an event like this, where there are a lot of great people that have your best interests at heart, you owe it to yourself to do that.”
Master Copywriter Co-Facilitator of Mastermind with Copywriting legend John Carlton
“I’ve been in Masterminds for 16 years and this is clearly one of the best I have ever been in. If you have a business that you’re running or that you’re thinking of adding to your existing line of business or work, this is a tremendous incubator as well as a high level peer group and the advice is something you really couldn’t buy from a consultant. And I know I’m a very high priced coaching consultant. I could have come up with some of the ideas but certainly not all of the ideas for the people who were here.”
Host of “Best of iTunes” podcast $100MBA Co-Founder, Webinar Ninja software
“If you are thinking about going to an event like this, I would say, don’t think about it. Just go ahead and pull the trigger. Because worst case scenario, you’re going to make some great friends. You’ll definitely learn something. You’ll definitely get some perspective. Even if that perspective is, “I’m doing a great job and I should continue.” Sometimes we need to hear that from other people to understand that you’re doing the right thing. I think that there’s tremendous value in going to a mastermind like this and so much to take away and learn.”

Featured Sherpa: Kevin Waldron: from $0 to $24 million/year and 240+ employees
About Kevin Waldron
Kevin Waldron immigrated to the U.S. from Scotland in the mid-1980s. Without a college degree, the only work he could find was with a disaster restoration company — literally cleaning up other people’s messes — where his boss was a raging alcoholic. After watching his boss make money while drinking all day, Waldron decided “if he can do it, I can do it better.”
Starting with a shoestring budget and just an 800 square foot warehouse space, and with no real business experience, Waldron grew his company into a regional powerhouse with 5 offices and over 200 employees and $24M a year in sales. He credited his business coach of 17 years, Patricia McDade, with helping him to grow the company.
After he finally sold the company in 2010, Waldron became a business coach himself. Today, Waldron does leadership coaching, helping business owners with sales between $2 million and $10 million scale upwards to $20 million and beyond. One of his recent coaching programs costs entrepreneurs $50,000 per person to participate in.
Featured VIP Guest: Andrew Warner Entrepreneur, Founder of Mixergy
in Conversation with a Surprise VIP Guest
While still in his twenties, Andrew Warner used credit cards and ingenuity to found and build a $30+ mil / year (in sales) internet business with his younger brother.
After selling his interest in that business, Andrew went on to create the top-rated business podcast Mixergy, through which he helps ambitious entrepreneurs to learn from a mix of experienced mentors.
Mixergy’s headquarters in San Francisco served as the venue for John and Jeremy’s first-ever Entrepreneur Retreat in April 2015.
Andrew is going to be doing a special sit-down interview with a surprise VIP guest who you will not want to miss. We could tell you who it is, but what’s the fun in that?

Savvy Entrepreneurs Invest In Themselves, Their Businesses, and Their Network
Would you spend $10,000 to make $100,000? Of course you would. (Don’t worry, this event will cost much less than $10,000.)
Our vision is to create the world’s greatest mastermind group for successful entrepreneurs who recognize when you Give, you get.
Our goal is to bring together leading entrepreneurs who are experiencing growth challenges and hurdles so we can help one another and build lifelong relationships.
The people who will be accepted into this community share our belief that the best way to achieve your own success is by helping others to succeed.
Your Founders & Facilitators:
John Corcoran & Dr. Jeremy Weisz
It all started with a simple idea. Entrepreneurs are stronger together.
In March 2015, Jeremy called up John a few weeks before the Mastermind Talks conference they were both set to attend in Napa Valley because he was going to be in San Francisco a few days early. Jeremy suggested they throw together a one-day mastermind for great entrepreneurs in the SF area or attending the conference.
With just three weeks notice, they threw together an event which included such notable guests as Mixergy founder Andrew Warner, Art of Charm podcaster Jordan Harbinger, and master copywriter David Garfinkle.
John and Jeremy enjoyed throwing that event so much — and the attendees got so much value out of it — that they decided to take the idea further and formalize it as a business.
Their mission was to bring together like-minded entrepreneurs who see value in helping their fellow entrepreneurs and to ‘pay it forward’ by introducing more entrepreneurs to the VIPs and Influencers in their own networks who have been so instrumental in their successes…and develop lifelong relationships.
Dr. Jeremy Weisz is an entrepreneur and the founder of a Chiropractic and Massage facility, a podcast host and producer, creator of an industry-leading chiropractic classifieds website, and nutritional supplement company owner.
He is the host of the InspiredInsider podcast where he interviews top leaders and entrepreneurs like the founders of P90X, Atari, Einstein Bagels and many more. For the past four years, he has also been the producer of the groundbreaking podcast Mixergy.
His nutritional supplement company created products that are carried in doctors offices across the country as well as online and of course personally takes his own products daily.
While still in chiropractic school, Jeremy saw the need for a one-stop chiropractic classifieds website, so he created it. Since 2006, Chiropracticjobfinder.com has helped people in the profession find and fill jobs and it is one of the most popular in the field. He is the father of two young girls, age 4 and 2 and lives in the north suburbs of Chicago.
John Corcoran is an attorney, writer, and a father, and a former Clinton White House Writer and Speechwriter to the Governor of California.
Throughout his diverse career, he has worked in Hollywood, as an early employee at DreamWorks, working for Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen, and he has worked in the heart of Silicon Valley, advising startup entrepreneurs. He owns his own boutique law firm in the San Francisco Bay Area catering to small business owners and entrepreneurs.
He is the creator of the Smart Business Revolution blog and podcast. His writing has appeared in Forbes, Entrepreneur, Huffington Post, Art of Manliness, Lifehacker, Business Insider, Get Rich Slowly, and numerous other publications, blogs and websites.
He has two young boys (Mason, age 5, and Tobey, age 2) and a third boy on the way. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The event will take place at the beautiful 4-star Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa, located in the heart of Sonoma wine country in northern California. The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn is just 1 hour and 20 minutes from San Francisco International airport, and is located on the site of a natural ancient thermal mineral spring.
The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn is a spa and golf resort, with a 40,000 square foot spa which has been rated among Travel + Leisure’s top 25 spas and an 18-hole championship golf course. All of the resort’s pools, as well as the spa are fed by these natural waters.
What You Get
The goal of this retreat is to give you a peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of running your business where you can work on breaking through barriers and longer range planning. This will be a working retreat which will give you the time and space to break through challenges which are holding you back and do long-range planning you don’t get to do when you’re busy running your business.
But that doesn’t mean we won’t have fun. We are planning an excursion and group dinners where you will have ample opportunity to bond and get to know the other participants outside of the mastermind room.
This will be a highly curated group, and the event is only as valuable as the people who come together in the room. Everyone who is accepted will be chosen because they are a good fit. You will be expected to come prepared and with basic knowledge of the other attendees and their businesses.
Because we will need to make nonrefundable reservations with the facility, your payment for the event is nonrefundable. However, if there is an instance in which an attendee needs to back out after submitting payment, we will make every effort to fill the spot so that we can refund all or a portion of their payment (minus any additional out of pocket costs to fill the spot).
What are the dates of the event?
A: The event starts the evening of Sunday, March 20, and will conclude with a closing party and dinner on Tuesday, March 22nd.
You should plan on arriving by the afternoon of Sunday, March 20 and you can depart on the morning of Wed March 23rd.
There will likely be a bonus add-on day (at an additional charge) on Wednesday March 23rd for some of the attendees who wish to attend.
What is included?
Your ticket price includes all-access pass to the event, amazing, gourmet meals during the event, drinks, all written materials, a secret group activity/excursion, and relationships to last a lifetime.
All you need to do is get yourself to the resort and cover your lodging and we’ll cover the rest.
Where should I stay?
A: We strongly recommend staying at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn in order to fully experience and enjoy the event, and we have negotiated a discount rate so that you can do this.
Who will be there?
A: Typically at our events we have entrepreneurs who run businesses that provide a range of services, from web development to wealth management to consulting, Facebook ad management, and coaching.
We’ve had solopreneurs who run businesses that do multiple six figures of revenue on up to 8 figures of revenue with up to 100 employees.
Am I even ready for this?
A: If you are not sure if you are a good fit, we encourage you to apply anyway. Remember: as Teddy Roosevelt said (to paraphrase) the credit goes to the person who puts him or herself in the arena. Don’t disqualify yourself out of the gate. We’re looking for a diversity of different types of entrepreneurs and what is more important than what is in your bank account is your attitude and willingness to contribute and help your fellow attendees.
